Our team of UK-based WordPress developers are on-hand and highly experienced in debugging and fixing common WordPress and WooCommerce problems. Whether you need a quick one-off fix, a series of improvements, or an ongoing care & maintenance plan to keep your website secure – we’ve got you covered.

Our WordPress maintenance plans start from £150 + VAT per month with no minimum term contract.

WordPress’ built in auto-update functionality give you a hands free “one-click” solution to potential security problems, but what happens if an auto-update knocks out one of your plugins, or breaks your bespoke code? As the number of plugins and themes you have installed increases, so do the risks of incompatibility, security issues and maintenance headaches.

But why do we even need to update anyway?

  • Outdated websites are a risk to customer data – failing to update potentially opens up your site to malicious access and interference; what data do you have in your WordPress dashboard that could be breached or exposed to the world? Data protection law requires UK businesses to take “appropriate measures” to keep personal data safe; read more about data security on the ICO website.
  • Many business insurance policies have security clauses – knowingly running insecure code on your website could potentially breach your business insurance policy
  • Infected websites are a risk to your visitors – websites infected with malware can force unwanted downloads on to visitors, collect data unknowingly, redirect visitors to malicious or unsavoury third party websites
  • Insecure websites risk being taken down – many popular hosting providers have an immediate suspension policy on websites found to be containing malware, risking your site’s uptime and ultimately, sales and customer trust

We tailor our WordPress care packages to suit the needs of your website or business, but all packages come with the following as standard:

Rest easy knowing that updates and maintenance tasks are taken care of: translation, theme and plugin updates, core security fixes and feature updates, spam removal and bespoke filtering, whole site back-ups, uptime monitoring and more.

All our retainer and maintenance clients get prioritised technical support for new issues and requests, as well as priority “jump the queue” calendering for new WordPress development. We guarantee a same day response in our Customer Commitment.

If your business succeeds, our business succeeds, so we like to see ourselves as an extension of your existing team. Collaborating to achieve your goals year on year.

Do your maintenance plans have a minimum contract length?

No, we believe that customers should renew with us because they feel like they get good service and great value so we don’t tie anyone in. All plans are rolling monthly contracts with no minimum term. You can cancel at any time.

What does the £150/month plan include?
  • Basic email support (response within 24hrs Mon-Fri as outlined in our Customer Commitment)
  • WordPress Core & plugin updates (testing on a staging environment is included)
  • Spam comment clean-up where relevant
  • Managed backups
  • Uptime/malware monitoring
  • Monthly basic health reporting – plugin/core updates performed, any issues that are likely to crop up in the near future
  • 30 mins dev time for tweaks and fixes
  • Additional dev time at our reduced ‘loyal client’ rate
Do you offer other retainer services?

We can add any combination of the following to our standard maintenance care plan:

  • Priority email support inc. out of hours
  • Performance monitoring & optimisation work
  • Accessibility checks
  • ‘Spidering’ to monitor 404 errors, redirect monitoring and upkeep
  • SEO – technical and content

  • Ongoing strategy calls
  • Additional pre-booked dev time
Do you offer one-off fixes without a maintenance plan?

Yes, we can offer ad hoc fixes and upgrades as required. Just reach out to get a quote.

Do you only maintain WordPress sites you’ve built?

No, we can do maintenance and care plans on any WordPress or WooCommerce website. However, before we take on an unfamiliar website under a care plan, we need to complete a chargeable audit to flag up any bugs and issues that will likely cause problems in the future.

Do you work with all WordPress themes and page builders?

We believe that pagebuilders often negatively impact WordPress websites and so do not recommend them, but we can support them and do have active clients running Elementor and other pagebuilders.

Do you maintain WooCommerce sites?

Yes! We have a number of complex WooCommerce builds in our care.

Do you work with WordPress Multisite?

Yes. However, maintenance plan costs may differ from our standard package so please reach out for a tailored quote.
