Happy Birthday, Ultimately Better!

OK, so I admit it, this post is a few months late. It turns out that when you dramatically increase your client base within a few months, company blogging goals and birthday branding exercises go out of the window. Client work has a habit of taking priority! But… better late than never, here we are at last, live and loving it!

Launched in 2021, Ultimately Better grew out of my years of experience as a freelance WordPress web developer. To celebrate our third birthday as a limited company, today we celebrate launching a completely new look and feel for our website, a shiny new logo and the future of the UB brand as we grow from a little one-woman-band to an actual agency, with staff, known across the UK and beyond for its WordPress expertise.

Updating a brand is no small task, especially for a small ‘home grown’ company. You have to find a designer that gets your vision, respects the history behind the existing branding, sees the potential in your future as you grow, and understands the emotions and personal sacrifice that holds everything together. We were incredibly privileged to be able to work with Nick Koch on our branding updates and redesign, and grateful that he saw everything we were aiming for from day one.

We’re not done! We want to extend our site further to add a knowledgebase and resources to address common WordPress issues, talk about our newer projects, highlight our staff achievements, and more. However, if we wait until all that’s done to launch, we’ll be here forever. So without further ado – I guess I should click that Publish button!
