Case study: WordPress replatform

The brief

Emtec Laboratories came to us via an external agency with an existing website hosted on a proprietary content management system. They found it difficult to make content changes themselves, and were unhappy with costs levied by their existing agency for even basic support.

What we did

We took over the hosting and maintenance of their existing website, later replatforming to the WordPress CMS, and now support them with content changes and ongoing maintenance.

As part of the migration to WordPress, we gave Emtec Noisebreaker a “light touch” design refresh, adapting existing assets to work responsively across all platforms and browsers to improve the website reach through improved compatibility.

• Fully bespoke WordPress theme developed based on the client’s existing site, with performance and search engine optimisation in mind
