Jem (she/her) is an accomplished web developer with over 25 years industry experience. Specialising in performant WordPress development, Jem has worked with clients on projects ranging from small-scale brochure sites to bespoke multinational e-commerce solutions.

Jem’s work in the cybersecurity space has been quoted in mainstream industry publications, underlining her passion for high-quality code in every area of project development. With a pragmatic approach and keen eye for detail, Jem is always looking for ways to improve client websites and customer experience.

A successful WordPress freelancer for over 10 years, Jem Turner launched Ultimately Better Ltd in 2021 to deliver ultimately better web development services to businesses in Shropshire and beyond.

Outside of work, Jem is a keen fitness enthusiast. As well as a black belt in ITF taekwon-do, Jem is a competitive powerlifter and qualified run leader for her local jogging group Broseley Joggers, through which she’s completed several marathons. In 2025 Jem started kickboxing to add another martial art to her repertoire.
